Replacing the emissions of 114.000 cars

GIDARA Energy’s Advanced Methanol Amsterdam facility will produce around 87.5 kiloton of advanced methanol every year. We use 175 kilotons of non-recyclable waste which is normally incinerated or landfilled.

By using our patented HTW® technology, we avoid up to 350.000 tonnes of CO2 every year in comparison to waste incineration. This is equivalent to replacing the emissions of 114.116 cars, resulting in 1.5 billion less km's driven every year.

An average car, driving 15.000km per year has CO2 emissions of approximately 3.360 kg per year. (source)

We are confident that our technology will benefit the reduction of the world's carbon footprint, as well as helping to reduce the global waste issue.
